How to set up your eSIM on iPhone
Last updated June 10, 2026
Before you begin
You'll need your setup email (we send it the moment your order's ready), Wi-Fi or mobile data, and a few minutes before you travel. Setting up early is fine — your eSIM stays dormant until your plan starts.
Got the setup email open on this same iPhone? Just tap the link in it — iOS does the rest.
Set up with one tap
If your setup email is open on the same iPhone, tap the setup link and iOS opens the eSIM screen for you — no QR code, no typing.
Scan the QR code
Open the setup email on a laptop, tablet, or another phone. On your iPhone: Settings > Mobile Service > Add eSIM > Use QR Code, then hold the phone so the code sits in the frame.
Enter the details by hand
If the QR code won't scan: Settings > Mobile Service > Add eSIM > Enter Details Manually, then type the SM-DP+ address and activation code from your email exactly as shown — they're case-sensitive.
Label your plan
Give the new line a name you'll recognise. Keep your home SIM as the default voice line and set the Globeelink line as your data line.
After setup
Once your plan starts, your iPhone connects automatically. Check Settings > Mobile Service to confirm the Globeelink line is on and set for data. If nothing happens at your destination, toggle Airplane Mode once.
