When does my data plan start?

When the clock starts
Your plan activates the first time it connects to a network at your destination — not when you buy it or install it. So you can set everything up at home without using a single day.
The backup start date
If you haven't connected by a set date (shown on your order), the plan starts automatically so it never sits unused forever. You'll find that date in your account and your setup email.
Checking it's running
Open Settings and confirm the Globeelink line is on and set for data. Your account shows the plan status and how much data is left.
Landing somewhere new? Keep the Globeelink line set as your data line and your phone connects the moment a partner network is in range.
